DVDFAB to DVD5

I bought and have been using DVDFAB since 2006 when I bought my existing PC. I am in the process of buying a new PC.

Back then the recommended process was to:
1) DVDFAB to DVD9
2) Vobblanker for some clean up
3) Dvdshrink or Dvdrebuilder to DVD5
4) Imgburn for burning

I still follow that process today, and have never had a problem.

Maybe not searching correctly, but could not locate any comparison of DVDFAB with Dvdshrink or Dvdrebuilder.

What is your experience? Am I wasting my time with my current process?

I think you are wasting time for sure. Fab has a customize mode for a little tweaking if you want and then straight to DVD-5. And in my opinion unless the movie requires compression of 75% or greater an encoder like DVDrebuilder is really a waste of time.
