Are you saying that DVDFab will no longer be incorporating new protection in ver 8? I still find ver 9 to slow to work with some of the time. Jack Reacher scans to 322 MB when I used ver 8.2.2.8 so I knew something was wrong, a new copy protection. I then tried ver 9.0.3.8 and it scans to 6858 MB and appears to copy fine.

I can do that for ver 9 and I do play around with it from time to time. The real question is "Was ver 8.2.2.8 the last update for ver 8 or are we being forced to use ver 9 from new copy protection?"

                9.0.3.8 The special build

I cannot get Jack Reacher to open correctly. WIth pathplayer disabled it will open but with two small files of a few minutes. WIth pathplayer enabled it will not open at all.

I can't make a backup of Jack Reach either. Says the disk is only 376 MB. Here is the only log generated:

jam, go into common settings and set all the A/V codecs to software and give it a try.

                          Hi jamuirhead
Along with what my friend said, also in Fab settings > DVD > Path player set it to always enabled restart Fab and try again.
                          Hope this helps

Thanks, Path Player did the trick

Software codec is always enabled. Never have had CUDA work at all. Even on version 8. Enabling path player did the trick. Thanks again.
