(actually 9.0.3.7) dvdfab, imgburn or disk issues?

I've just wasted a few disks and am getting no closer to figuring out what I need to do differently. I keep getting burn write errors, and previously it's happen to me only twice and the second attempt at burning was successful. It's happening when trying to do full disk or clone (last attempt with 'remove layer break' unchecked).

does medium error mean "lousy disks"? I'm using Maxell DL 8x and up to now had good luck with them ... down to last 10 of a 50 pack.
(my single layer disks are Verbatim and never an issue with them).

dvdfab and imgburn log files are attached.

I appreciate any tips on what I should be doing differently.

    Hi wwooz
Yes, medium error usually means garbage discs, sorry.
You might try slowing your burn rate down to 4X, it might help.
I would suggest investing in some Verbatim DVD+R DL with thw AZO dye on the package.

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.
