Windows 7 Laptop can't play on DVD Player

On my laptop Windows 7 when I record a movie I can play it on the PC but not on a DVD player. What is up with that. It gives me no errors. I looked at the settings. Could not see any obvious problems.

What media are you using, try and make sure the disc is finalized. I cannot see your setting nor do I have anyother information, some older DVD players have a problem with + media some dont. It could be a multitude of things.

Maybe if you posted the information listed in the Help Us Help You sticky someone can actually help you with this issue but since you did not we can not help

I found that if I have the movie in a temporary file, it goes ahead and finalizes it for DVD. I am not sure if there is a setting that will change that on Windows 7. I at least can now shut it down and not send it to the disk, and it leaves it in the temporary file and then choose the temp file.

I assume that you know from my post in the wrong area, that the dvd's were finalizing for the computers but not for DVD use. There are no error messages when it runs it says it completed sucessfully. I got it to finalize for a DVD when I went to the temporary file and chose the one that was left in temp, then I could play it on my DVD player. I am sure there is a setting I am missing. My lap top is HP with Windows 7. It does have Windows DVD maker.

It happens to all the discs.

Windows 7 Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 900@2.20 GHz
Memory 3.00 GB

No external hard drive

No recent changes

Window DVD maker and burning software also Cyberlink DVD Suite on computer when purchased.

I attached the most recent burn log.
I hope it worked.

the logs are no help as something did not work but you are using the internal VSO burn engine and some users have problems with that. Download and install ImgBurn and try using that as the burn engine to see if it helps you.
