    Preview 9.0.4.6

Preview 9.0.4.6 will not default to internal decoder as default when installing, preview is still not working at all on my system, which is windows xp 32bit.

I did a uninstall and reinstall of Fab, it did not work, when it was reinstalled and started Fab, directshow is the default, and will not change when you check the default box and restart Fab!!

    Hi SWB048,
Maybe no DirectX in your PC. You can type "dxdiag" in command prompt to check it.
You can install or update your DirectX by installing DVDFab Media Player.

Microsoft has not released directx 11 for Windows XP! What OS are you running?

As I said before DirectX is the default state and I can not change it, I get audio
but no video. Preview works when ripping only.

I thought Microsoft were pulling support for Win XP hence no Direct X updates so it may be time to look at updating your >10 year old operating system.

We are not talking about MS support pulling support from xp we are talking about dvdfab internal view decoder, there ere many users out there still using xp.

Terry5 Fix this please upgrading the drivers is not going to fix putting DVDfab into the default internal decoder.

What attitude? I'm merely pointing out that other people on this forum are still using Windows XP, that may have the same problem as my self, now if you want to startout anew, and offer me a solution I would be more than happy to listen, but upgrading to a new OS is not a option at this point in time. I updated my graphics driver and restarted the computer, started DVDFab, now the Preview slider moves all the way over the right and nothing. With all the changes going on in version 9 it possible that there could be a bug, I'm asking someone to check it out thats all.
