The Mask doesn't copy

Using either v9 or v8, the movie name is recognized, but they both just spin and spin...

The movie plays on the same computer the DVDFab is running on.

Is there any setting that might need to be changed to copy an older movie?

go into settings and look for pathplayer set it to disable restart dvdfab
and try again. and make shure the disc is clean.

Disabling pathplayer did the trick - thank you!

Is that something I should re-enable, or is it OK to leave it disabled?

Reset it to always enabled until you have need to disable. Best to leave it enabled.
