    After Copy "Put in writable media" Problem

    Every time, when the copy is finished and the original disc pops out and I put in the blank disk, the pop-up window keeps saying "put in writable media" or something similar to that. It keeps spitting out the blank disc with the same message.
    I double checked to make sure my drive writes to DVD+RW (which is what I'm using) and it does. After reading other posts I've also installed and set IMGburn to work with DVDfab. I've burned to DVD+RW in other applications and it works fine.

    Any thoughts? Any help will be most appreciated.

    One thought comes to mind, if you are using 4.7GB single layer blanks be sure you have the output set to DVD-5. The software will be looking for a dual layer and spit out the single layer if set to DVD-9.
    How to post the internal log

      I looked in the area that you can set things. Under "write" it shows both DVD-5 and DVD-9.I don't see a place to pick one over the other. Below that
      it says "write type of DVD-R media" and it's set to "auto".

      Do the following help?

      The process log reads;

              Is it possible that it's a gliche in the software/dvdfab program?

                Just a bit more info. I tried a DVD-R to see if the drive would accept it for writing to. It wouldn't. The drive kept saying "looking for writable media" as before.
                So my question is, since I can write to the DVDs under different applications, is it possible there is a problem with the DVDfab program? I can't imagine what it would be...

                Any other thoughts on this?

                      One thing I see is you are still using the VSO burning engine and it's showing the drive not empty. If you have indeed installed ImgBurn in the default location then set 8.2.2.9 to use it here and give it a go:

                      And don't forget to click on OK at the bottom.

                        OK I made sure Imgburn was selected and tried it again. I still had the same problem with it asking for writable media.
