Disc Says It Copied But It Didn't

Since I changed to Windows 8 and upgraded to any version of 9 I've has this problem. I copy a disc and DVDFab says it copied but nothing will play. I can't put anything else on the list because something is there but not a movie or anything I can see. I can sometimes burn it several times and eventually it will work but sometimes it will be choppy or drag. The discs I'm using are the same discs that worked fine with version 8. Any ideas?

This log looks odd to me maybe staff can take a look at this.

Doe's the disk play on the computer? Is your outboard player a Panasonic model? Do you have another player or game system with a drive you can try it on?

I've tried it on several systems with no luck. The PS3 or DVD player doesn't even show it as being in the system.

You can try turning path player off for this disk and try again.

Thanks! That did work on this movie. I've had this problem with every movie so I guess I should always disable Path Player?

not always, some new releases require the use of pathplayer.

Is there any way to know rather than wasting a disc? This was World War Z.

Put the dvd on computer first then use a software player if it don't play then you will know to adjust pathfinder to get it playing on the computer if it plays then burn.Or you can read the internal log file after you put the movie on the computer and if you see something like this in the file your going to have trouble with the burn.4m 21.24s: SourceSize: 32803 MB
