disc space error

when using dvdfab with imgburn, i have started getting the message
appears to be not enough space on disc to burn this image
Image: 6670896 sectors (13029 mb)
Disc size: 2295104 sectors (4482 mb)
want to continue anyway?
yes, no cancel

I have recorded dvds in the past with no problems. but it seems that now i have started to receive this message. any one else with this issue and how to solve it?
