Thank you 90312, I may have a look at that in the morning. Too tired tonight. Will use fresh eyes in the morning. Think I have ruined enough discs for one night. Night all.

If you have it set to 5 then Fab will compress a 2 layer disk to fit on a 5.If you set it for 9 then it should copy the disk from the store brought disk over to your blank 2 layer disk.

If you use a 2 layer disk that your burner can't write to because it's a cheap disk then theirs your problem just get better 2 layer blank disks or compress it to a dvd 5 disk.

I would put it on a 2 layer disk as it will be the same as the store brought disk and look the same. Some dvd's will fit on 1 layer disks without compression then you only need a 1 layer disk to copy the disk.

            Hi stoneheart
You will find instructions in the link in my signature on installing ImgBurn with Fab.

Also, as previous stated, the disc your using are garbage. Sorry

If using the DL disc you will need to slow down your burn speed to half the rated speed of your disc, which is 4X, don't try burning these at 6X.

Remember to set up the AWS in ImgBurn, so every time you insert that brand of disc, it will burn at the speed you choose.
            Hope this helps

If burning in Fab burner log shows 6x as slowest burn speed available. If he will try img burn he can try setting img burn settings with a slower 4x speed and adjust laser power to disk with OPC before write. With these cheap disks it may not help but it's worth trying.I would try 2x burn speed in img burn with these disks if 4x doesn't work.

CBR929 but he said the Sony disks are single layer and had no trouble with them and the log shows info Media ID: RITEKF1 So I guess the Sony's are re branded Ritek disks also.

Anyway I see log files in my sleep now i guess i am reading too many of them the last few days wait to xmas think their are a lot of new users now.....

Not found the log file of V9 when pathplayer enabled.

From the log file, it seems like that DVDFab does not select the correct main title when opening source "STAR_TREK__INTO_DARKNESS"

Please update to latest version V9115.
Enable pathplayer in Common setting and try again and then check the title selection in MainMovie.
Attach the source info (right click on title and select "Export source info"), purchased link and log file here if DVDFab does not read the correct main title.
Better to give us some screenshot.

Sorry guys, you all speak geeklish and I am sooo lost now! I loaned the movie to a friend, so will have to try something different when it comes back. Doesn't make sense that it will only give me grief on copying the newest releases.

                        World War Z won't copy

Hi there. I'm having the same exact problem as in the first post here. I have the most recent version of DVDFab and when I try to copy WWZ it reaches 100% in less than 3 seconds and spits out the dvd saying it was a perfect copy. Wrong. I'm not even going to waste discs trying to burn it, I just want the copy to work. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

Second attempt at World War Z

I tried WWZ again, this time with main movie instead of full disk. I got an error this time that said process failed. Here is the internal log:

                            WWZ again

BTW, I wanted to mention that this is the second disk of World War Z I've tried, neither will copy and both original disks were in good shape (not scratched etc).

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Anyone? I want to give this disc back but I'd like to be able to copy it first. Thanks!

You need to read this: and explain giving it back?
