Thanks for your response

I have just tried your suggestion of MAIN MOVIE only,but still the same message comes up.
I tried it with Pathplayer On,Off and When necessary.

This line is from your log: 1m 11.40s: read error: 3 3792882 3881361 3837170 0 9 3792882. You can try a good cleaning with window cleaner and a lint free cloth but if you still get this read error it will probably never copy.

R-1 Main movie copied just fine as suggested try cleaning the disc, I don't remember if I did it with pathplayer on or off though

I got the main movie without issue too, Pathplayer always enabled.

Is the main movie log cut off or is their any more to it?.All your dvd drives are 5-7 years old and no updates for them.

I believe this to be new copy protection that causes read errors please give Fab a buy link for this disk or store brought from and if from a set or single disk you already said region 2 disk that will help.

With this type of protection others in region 1 can make main movie perhaps region 2 disks are different.Fab will have to get this disk.

Still no good

Thanks everyone for their input.

I have tried cleaning the disc and running it through Main Movie only. It stops at 98%.

I see your still receiving read errors in your log.
Have you tried using one of your other drives?
It's worth a shot, where one drive might fail another might not, try your internal Sony.

Just letting you know that by using DVDFAB 8 as suggested by glenns and my Sony drive as suggested by CBR929, i have managed to do a FULL DISC copy of American Hustle R2.

Thanks Guys for all of your help and others that contributed.

Carry on FAB TEAM for all that we believe in.

Happy to see you were able to copy the disk.
The Sony drive was 2 years newer than the other drives that are older.I am wondering if your read errors were gone when you used version 8 as your log was cut off again it's very important to include the whole log file.

If the read errors are gone that's fine but if not check to see if the movie plays ok.Have you had any problems making newer disks with Fab before? You should try the same disk with version 8 with the other drives to see if it's the drive or the version 8 that was able to make the disk so Fab can determine if there's a new copy protection or just a case of older drive not being able to read the disk.Their are other people reporting similar read error problems so it would help if you could do this and then you know if it's also time to buy a new dvd drive their cheap in cost these days.I would also do it with the Sony drive and version 9 just to see if it was the drive or the program.

Hi glenns

I have never had any problems with backing up my new disks with any of my drives, until now.
I have noticed where others had problems, say with FROZEN or HUNGER GAMES CATCHING FIRE ,Ive had success with FAB9.
As with why the log file keeps cutting off, im not sure why that is.

I have played the Backed up copy that i did earlier on FAB 8/ Sony drive, and it plays fine.

I have just tried the same process with FAB 9 but reading error comes up as before. I have included the log.
Hopefully it hasnt cut off.

HI i have just opened the disc with FAB 8 on one of my other drives, and it has opened succesfully . Log attached.

I havent managed to run through run a FULL DISC copy yet as i havent time , but i will later today.
