    Something wrong with newer versions???

I've never really had much trouble with DVD FAB 9 copy until...

Earlier this spring I had to update from 9.1.4.5 to 9.1.5.9 to copy Hunger Games Catching Fire. It worked but after the update I noticed two things:
    1. Practically every movie I tried to back up-- since the update-- was over 4GB which meant I had to go purchase dual layered blanks in order to have copies.
    2. Each title was copied as an ISO file like normal but was accompanied with a "configuration settings" file of 1Kb. This never happened on my old version

    • Are my settings wrong?
    • Did I download my updates wrong?
    • Did DVD Fab compress the files before?
    • Or are titles now just coming out in bigger files?
    • Can I get rid of the "configuration settings" files?

Like the Beatles would say . . . HELP!

Without more information from you, internal log, my first guess is when you select iso it defaults to DVD9, mine does, and you need to select DVD5 before you hit GO.

OK my version does not have the Output option nor the drop down menu to pick from dvd9 or dvd5

I use the clone option and not the main movie copy option.
The clone option doesn't have the output drop down menu.

That's because clone is an exact copy, if the original is on a dual layer disc the output will require a dual layer blank. You can use full disc and compress it to a DVD5 iso if you want.
