Unable to burn main movie-asking for double layer media

Hi, anyone come across a problem when you've put in a blank DVD to copy saying "Media inserted in Drive D is single layer. Please insert a double layer media to start the write process".

I'm only selecting the main movie to burn.

I don't believe the file is that big, it's just a barbie movie.

    Hi dianne_e and welcome,

There are several things to look at here...
Be certain you've selected DVD5 and not DVD9 on the bottom of the app screen.

Also in Common Settings, scroll down to DVD to DVD and select DVD5 as the default output size

Take a look at your write, file size settings.
    Common Settings > DVD / Blu-ray > Write
You may be exceeding the limit on your SL balnk media.
I've forgotten what the default size is, but 4472 MB is too large for some SL media.
    Try 4300 MB for now.

How large are the files on your hdd?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Hi, I'm not real sure about the size files on the hard drive.

I was just burning dvd to dvd and it came up with the Media inserted in Drive D is single layer. Please insert a double layer media to start the write process.
