Crash Problem (was: Mind if I Hitch a Ride?)

Mind if I piggy-back on this request as it sounds like we are having a very similar problem?

After opening the program and inserting the DVD, the progress bar begins to go across, then halts and the Microsoft Windows error message pops up:

DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file. has stopped working

Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.

    (select)
Check online for a solution and close program
    Close program
(either one yields the same result- nothing.)

I've attached the dvdfab_burn_vso log file here. (The DVDFab_Event.log and dvdfab_process.log files showed info only from my last successful burn.)

I have tried this with several DVD's so far and they all have the same result.

    I'm running Vista on a Dell XPS M1730 Core2 Duo CPU @ 2.6GHz with 4 GB RAM.

I use the built-in DVD drive for reading and (though it doesn't get that far) an external burner.

There have been no changes to my OS or hardware.

I don't have any other DVD software installed.

    Thanks!

Try uninstalling this version and updating to 6.0.7.0. This error could be caused by most anything, it's trying to access memory that is not there or has been overwritten. When you uninstall use a program like CCleaner to remove any reference to DVDFab in the registry prior to install of 6.0.7.0.
Be sure to keep your key in a safe place, you'll need it when you reinstall.
