    slow copying/burning speeds-Help!.

Ever since I burned a backup of district 9 with dvd fab 6.2.1.8 will not backup a dvd faster then 2.11mb/s. It use to do it about 5 or 6mb/s. Burning the dvd is now taken 5 times as long. It only seems to burn @ 1X to 1.6 XI checked to see if it was doing it in PIO instead of DMA and it was in PIO mode. It says DMA was not available. I had to upgrade the DVD Fab to backup district 9.
Could something be wrong with my Lite-On burner?
I tried to backup Best in Show. It took a full hour to burn to the hard-drive and just as long to burn to a DVD. I have used DVD Fab for about a year and a half and never came across this issue

Did you uninstall the litey in device manager?
If no, please do so and reboot.

You can also try running the VBS Script file
See Stubborn DMA Reset in my sig below

Please post the last burn log.

    The default location is:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

When I went into the settings menu on FAB, I clicked the "reset DMA now" in the options box and rebooted, everything is fine now! I think that trying to back up "District 9" created problems with my burner. One of those was having to burn it in PIO mode which is so slow.
