I am having this same problem.
If I rip some movies using full disc with the skip to main title option enabled, when I try to play the movie in 7mc I get a DVD error message and playback does not start at all.
If you let me know what information to provide that will be useful, I will dig it up. I have provided some below.
I have only noticed this problem recently because prior to this I was using main movie only but got tired of worrying about forced subtitles so I have started using full disc instead.
Details:
Windows 7
Multiple version of DVDFab including latest
Playback fails within My Movies and native 7MC Movie Library (I tried VLC previously but I forget results so I will try again tonight)
Movies I know it happens with: Alien Vs Predator titles, Doom (was trying to watch some sci-fi last night)
Ripped to folder format
Stored on external Raid 5 setup
