Switched to DVD5 still won't work!

Hello, I get that "single layer media detected, put in a double layered media" so I switched from DVD9 to DVD5 and it worked, "once"; the process now fails and it sometimes reverts back to DVD9 even though I have saved DVD5 as a setting. Now when I tru to burn a DVD it will copy it; when I put the blank in it starts to burn, then the "process fails"....please help.

Yes, please provide version number......

Check in the settings (green check mark top right). Look under DVD / Write. Confirm that the entry for DVD5 size is 4300.... If not make it 4300 and see if that helps. Please close DVDFAb and open it again before you try though.
