Software asking for double layered media??

Just doing a normal dvd read and burn....Dvd fab kicks out my sony media and ask for a double layerd disc??? If a burn it on my laptop it works w/ the same media and dvd??? wondering if there is a setting problem????

Have you checked your setting?
Is the software set for DVD5 or DVD9?

If using single layer disc it must be set for DVD5.

DVD5== Single layer disc.
DVD9== Double layer disc.
