is anyone having problems with this disc (US)
it opens, reads, copies fine (so it says)
but then when you play it back
about half way through it starts pixelating all over the screen or freezes up or hangs for awhile then skips some to the next hang up
I've tried full disc (which pixelates, but plays through it then hangs[freezes])
main movie (plays fine but half way through or so it then hangs/freezes)
I've tried it three different times
dvdcopy full with 9.2.1.4 then burnt with 8.0.8.5
dvdcopy full with 9.2.1.4 then burnt with 9.2.1.4
dvdcopy main movie from the 9.2.1.4 full disc files with 8.0.8.5 then burnt with 8.0.8.5

It appears that the write is too fast. Try cutting back the write speed to 1/2 the rated speed. I would go with 8x

did you watch your original disc to make sure that it plays ok??
the latest version is 9.2.1.5 or 9.2.1.6 beta so update to the
latest version. you can also try imgburn to burn your disc.
and try slowing down your burn speed. you are burning too fast.

I have never had to reduce the speed before
"recommended speed" has never let me down before
