Slow Burning

Please excuse me if this is the wrong place to see if anyone has any answers for me. I purchased a new desktop (Dell)and just added my DVD fab, It is working fine but the burn process is extremely long. I'm on 1 hour 19 minutes with 37 minutes left to go on a main movie burn, It has never taken this long before so I'm assuming it has something to do with the CD/Dvd drive. My issue is I can not seem to find any info on it at all (the Hardware), not even from Dell.

Any suggestions on what to do, should I replace it?

try clicking "common settings" - "drives" - "dvd write"
and see what your write speed is set at.

I had the same problem with DVDFab v9.2.2.3. Thought it was a fluke. Now I am having the same issue with DVDFab v9.2.2.4. Both versions take over 2 hours to burn a movie.
I am trying the faster burn setting as we speak. Will know more in a couple of hours. Hope this is the answer! If not will get back to the forum.

Burning faster is not the best option if using cheap media, it will create more problems than it's worth. If you want help post your internal and burn log files related to your problem, instructions in the link in my signature tell you how.
