9.2.2.8 does not recognize disc in drive

I have a situation with version 9.2.2.8. It does not recognize there is a disc in the drive.
I have been using Copy Mode/Full Disc. I get the message 'Insert Disc or Click on +' When I insert a disc, DVDFab just sits there.
I have tried changing to each of the other Copy Modes. Still does not recognize there is a disc in the drive.
Any suggestions??

try clicking "common settings" - drives - make sure that all your drives
are checked. or try clicking the default button in the lower left corner
of the common settings page and restart dvdfab.
