DVD Fab freezes computer at 20% copy

    Hi,
I'm new to DVD Fab. Everytime I try to create a backup, the computer freezes and I have to reboot....it stops at 20-27%.
Any suggestions on how to fix this error?
    Thanks,
    ML

Try updating to Vista SP2 and try again

Do what CBR929 mentioned and also you are using a laptop with a matSHITa DVD drive they are known to cause problems with DVD copy programs and you would benifit from using an external DVD drive.

        Still doesn't work.

I upgraded my machine to Vista SP2 and it didn't work.

Now I just tried on another machine(HP) with an HighScribe drive. And it gave an error at 19%. Pls let me know if this is fixable.....here is the log:

102 is a read error. You can try cleaning with a soft cloth and some Windex but it's likely a bad pressing and the DVD has read errors on it. If it's a new purchase take it back swap it for a different one.

I was about to give up and then read a tip on ignoring errors somewhere in the forum. Gave it a shot and it worked:-)
            Thanks all.
