Safe mode with networking so you can download fab from front page w/o anything blocking internet access or security protocols. Then run as administrator.Like I said before it worked for another user same security program as you same problem. Are you using internet explorer and did you filter the active x modules by any chance?

no I don't use internet explorer, I use chrome...

Wilson - there is no log to post.. the program doesn't generate any log at all.. it does not startup/run at all so never gets to a running point to where it could generate a log.. so, there are no logs I can give you, it doesn't create any.

the only error log info I have is what I had posted before - the Windows Errorlog Report:

here's the full Windows Error report:

When you downloaded version 10 it asks to restart computer did you?
Also if using version 10 for the 1st time you need to register it.

I am not using v10 at all man.. have not even tried it.. I don't do beta's, heh..

the last stable version they put out that works correctly with no issues at all, is 9312...

every version after that has this same issue I posted about here..

and this post is about v9321.. the newest official release.. this is the version I am having the issue with.. and safe mode doesn't work, as I've previously mentioned...

last version that worked correctly with no issues at all was 9312.. all versions since then - 9316, 9318, 9319, 9321 - all have this same issue that this thread/post is about, with the same error...

so whatever change was made to a dll or supporting file or something between 9312 and 9316+, is what's causing the problem.. 9312 works perfectly.. nothing has worked since then..

and nothing has changed on my computer since 9312 either, except for latest/newest microsoft "important" security updates... I don't even do their "optional" updates.. I run a very clean, tight, secure PC...

and yes, when installing and trying to run 9321, I had disabled antivirus and ran as administrator.. and still no go..

like I say, 9312 had no issues whatsoever..

this problem first appeared with 9316 and still continues with this latest 9321.. same issue and error with all of them.

Try right clicking on the dvdfab icon - click properties - click compatibility then slect run this program in compatibility mode for
Then try windows 7 or any of the others.
