No audio when using DVD copy main movie

Hi,
I've been using DVDfab for many years. I currently have version 10.0.3.6 installed. I have copied all my DVDs to NAS drive using Copy main movie with no problems till now. I have 3 DVD set of Xmen 1, 2 and 3. Xmen 1 copies main movie fine. But when copying main movie for Xmen 2 & 3 I only get video but NO sound.
Any ideas?

Thanks 3dman7, have downloaded latest version and tried main movie copy but still no sound. Note if I drag and drop folder into VLC Media Player it works with sound. Still no sound via WMC even though all other movies are fine including the recently copied Xmen 1 from the same 3 DVD set. The thread you point to for internal log file is closed (?).

Maybe the type of soundtrack can't be played back by your player.Some players won't play Dolby Atmos.The internal log file is in the dvdfab folder the last disk done is at the bottom cut and paste it as a attachment here it starts with the Fab version.My 2 xman movies have DTS master 7.1 sound and play on windows media player and VLC,Fab media player and MPC-HC media player maybe your classic version needs up dating or a plug in for DTS master 7.1.If VLC and Fab media player free version plays it then the file is good.VLC player won't play Dolby Atmos Fab media player will.

Like I said, all my Xmen movies play fine on Windows Media Centre except for Xmen 2 & 3 where there is no sound. I can play them via VLC and sound works. WMC does not seem to have the option to set sound as described in the link you provided. Anyway here is the log data for Xmen 2 main movie copy. Thanks for your assistance.

Ok these are dvd's so no HD sound should be Dolby digital or DTS so make sure your windows media center is the latest if it plays on any other player it should be a good copy you must find out why WMC isn't playing the sound.Use the windows audio
troubleshooter.Left click on windows logo on lower left of your screen then settings symbol then audio troubleshooter see if it can find the problem.Sorry the link was for a different program.Also check that the mute audio is not on in the program and in your tray check the audio symbol also not muted there, you can get to the audio trouble shooter from there also.Put disk 2 in Fab and select the audio pull down what audio does it show checked marked.?
P.S. That log was for disk 1 that you had no trouble with.Should post log as a attachment for disk 2 or 3 if above don't work.

Thanks for the tip re DVDfab audio setting.
DVDfab has Audio "English DTS/5.1" selected for Xmen 2. Other options include "English AC-3/5.1" and "English AC-3/2".
I then put Xmen 1 in and found only "English AC-3/5.1" was selected. So I have tried this setting with Xmen 2 and happy to say audio is now working. Also did it with Xmen 3 and all ok!
I'll have to make sure to check this setting for future DVDs.

I am happy you got it working but windows media player should of been able to play the DTS 5.1 also as It will even play DTS HD on blu rays.So I am not understanding why it played in VLC player and not Windows media player.Fab has a free version of its media player that plays all audio.

I'm using Windows Media Centre (not Player) or perhaps that's what you meant. The Fab player doesn't have as nice a GUI as WMC. WMC easily finds all the DVDfab copied main movie folders on my NAS drive and just works well.
As for the DTS audio, I'll see if I can find out the issue with WMC but AC3 sounds great through my stereo so quite happy with that.

Because it's a outdated player it's old and likly can't play DTS sound so that's the reason your having trouble with some soundtracks.check out kodi google it.
