Add *dvdid.xml to existing library?

Using DVD2DVD I've ripped a number of DVDs into my library, then noticed the 'Create dvdid.xml' option. I'd like to add the dvdid info for each disc into the library, without re-ripping the DVDs. Has anyone done this, and what settings have you used?

Quick workaround: select 'Customize' menu and select any one short track. Results are written to separate 'Customize' subfolder. Copy the resultant *dvdid.xml file to full movie folder.
