    Burning I am Legend

Wondering if anyone is having problems burning dvd to dvd the movie I am Legend...

When it copies it and tells me to put the blank disk after a couple minutes tells me failed to burn. Then i replace it with a new blank dvd and it just continues to say install a new one...

that has happen to other dvd's that i have tried to burn but i always have to start over the program over again because it looks like it loops over and over after i have replaced it with several blank dvd's...Like if it doesnt reset itself for the new blank dvd

    thanks in advance

club777, what version of Fab are you using? This being an older movie you should have no problem with it. Are you using image burn to burn? If not you should use it which can be found here . Also what type of media are you using?

VSO is the default burn engine for Fab (integrated into the retail app).
However, it is problematic for many users.
Imgburn is an independent burn engine that can be integrated into Fab and selected as the default.
Img is freeware, extremely reliable and very configurable.
        Most of us prefer Img.

Here's an excellent video tutorial to help you set up Img and Fab.
There's also a download link as well as some other info such as setting up Automatic Write Speed...a darn handy function.

As far as the retry, this may well be due to marginal/poor media.
If you could post a burn log, this will give us most of the info we need to help you...such as MID (media code), burner, firmware, etc., etc.

          The default location is:
          C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

If you are using DL discs make sure the quality is set to DVD9 and not DVD5, it may be looking for a single layer disc to burn.

Slow your burn speed down to 1/2 the rated speed of your blank media. Also is this with image burn which was suggested you use?

You should change the write speed to 4x and you should use ImgBurn.
