    Process hangs at Reading Disc

    The DVD I am attempting to make a copy of is '12'. It is a Russian film. The DVD plays on my DVD player and PC without any problems.

    The process to copy hangs at the first step.

    Here's the log(s):

    moonbandito try updating your drives firmware here http://www.firmwarehq.com/Sony/AW-G170S/files.html ,also try turning path player off if it is on or on if it is off but not enable when necessary, post back results. Also give the disc a good cleaning.

      eventually copied to disc...but now can not copy back to DVD

      I tried several times, left the DVD in over night - and it seemed to have worked.

      Now, I can't seem to make a copy of what resides on my hard drive.

      When I select the folder the TS_Video files - the folder name never transfers to the 'source' window and the copy process doesn't begin.

      Here are the two logs:

        When you are trying to write, assuming you are using Fab to do the job, select 'Write Data', then select the main folder that has the sub-folders AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS in it...

        The burning software should take care of the rest...

          moonbandito I see you haven't updated your drives firmware as suggested, also you are using an out dated version of Fab try updating to the latest beta build. Also install ImgBurn and use that instead of the VSO in Fab http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=33 then post back. Also is this 2 different computers you are trying this on?
