Had same problem 3 weeks ago. Uninstall new, Install old from downloads. No help. Prompted to Up-date. Up-date to version 10081. No help. Solved the problem 3 weeks ago after several times switching from old to new. Not this time. Version 10079 was working so I did not Up-date. When Crop stopped working in 10079 I used the Up-date to 10081 hoping for a fix but nothing has helped.

I had disabled "Crop Automatically" in Common Settings > Conversion. I prefer to set Crop Manually. That seems to have been the problem. Keep "Crop Automatically" check marked.
