ImgBurn can be configured to work with Fab seamlessly and is a much better burn engine than VSO and Nero.
You can also contact VSO Support and they may be able to solve your problem.

Three main questions here, what brand of media are you using and how fast are you burning at ? One more is your burner firmware up to date ? Myself I always use the VSO burn engine as myself like you I just want to use one program and have burnt over 500 movies with no problems with the VSO enginePaid Not To Work

Did you check the manual that came with your dvd-reorder to see if it supports the -RW format??
Although not many people like it, Nero is one of three burn engines supported in Fab... if it's working for you, maybe you should re-configure for that engine... it's not written in stone anywhere that you MUST use the VSO engine...

Justin I have had the same problem a few times before too, didn't know if it was cheap media or what, but I've learned that my $600.0 Sony DVD player/ recorder is very picky about what you put in it and if the disc is formatted correctly. So now the only time I ever use RW disc's is for testing purpose's and I only use verbatim disc's for my burns.Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

I have tried all the popular brands none work.I have tried lowering the burning speed to 2x still doesn't work.,I have a pioneer dvd burner in my computer latest firmware etc. What puzzles me though is that when i use nero express with dvd-rw they work fine in my dvd-recorder so it must be something to do with the vso burning engine.

Not much to add.
Recommend that you try Img..as W&B suggested. It's free, more reliable, more configurable
and can be integrated to work within Fab. Just click on the link he posted.
As DC said, nero can be utilized within Fab as well
Agree with CBR929, RW's are less than ideal for video archiving or bkups.
Is there a specific reason that you want to stick with -RW media?
Brands don't tell us much with few exceptions...Verbatim being one of the exceptions.
It makes more sense to refer to blank media by MID (media ID).
If you post a burn log or two, we can take a look, but I wouldn't hold out too much hope for the -RW media and VSO.

Hi Justin,
Nothing jumps out at your burn log except your choice of media and we've already been there.
You may want to take a look at some user comments re: this media.
Based on 16 user comments, burn reliability is mixed and console player reliability (your panny) is mixed
If you want to stick with this media (your choice, but a poor one...no offense and JMO), switch burn engines.
As we said, the other two can be integrated to work within FabIf it ain't broke, don't fix it!
