    Problem burning DVD

I'm using the most recent version of DVDFab, and can't get the image to burn with any engine. VSO didn't work, so I tried IMGBurn, and still get error 111.

I can take the folder created by DVDFab, and burn it using IMGBurn in Build mode after shutting down DVDFab, but can't burn from DVDFab. I tried Full Disk, I tried Write Data of the folder created from Full disk, and still same error. Any help would be appreciated!

Either your drive just doesn't like that media or you've got a fake batch of discs.

Let me check your firmware ... be right back

EDIT: Hum firmware looks good, how old is the drive ? Are you using the same speed in both burns ? The speed you are using is a little slow too, try bumping it to 8X, 4x is really too slow fr the media you are using !!

Voltorb you should have ImgBurn set up from this tutorial and also be burning at 1/2 your max disc speed.

      Sorry AlienX69 missed you.

The drive is a few years old, but IMGBurn has no issues burning the disk as long as DVDFab is no longer running. Burn speed was 4x when using IMGBurn alone.

IMGBurn was setup according to the instructions provided.

I have tried 8x, and have the same issue.

What is this entry in the log telling us?

Voltorb open ImgBurn and click the tools tab at the top and scroll down to Filter Driver Load Order and post anything found in the upper and lower filters.

Have a look here, scroll down to XP:

This article describes a problem with CD or DVD drives not work, or is missing, or not recognized after installing or uninstalling programs.

                  In addition, you can try

                  MS SysInternals > Process Explorer:
Find out what files, registry keys and other objects processes have open, which DLLs they have loaded, and more.

Check the attached pic to see how to disable this, may not solve the problem though.

This is just a esata control card and shouldn't be a problem, I have the same filter after installing one with no problems.
