Problem burning on a single layer disc...HELP

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site but I've been using DVDFab for awhile. Havent had any problems with it at all until I tried to copy both 2012 and Where The Wild Things Are. My drive spit out my single layer disc and a message popped up saying I needed to use a double (dual) layer disc. I've never had that happen before. Everything has always went on a single layer. Anyone have any insight on how to avoid this problem? I really dont want to start buying dual layer discs if I can avoid it. Thanks.

You probably forgot to set output size to DVD5 at bottom of program during setup of copying process.

Oh yeah....I also tried to use version 6 AND version 7 but they both required a double layer disc. Thanks again.

Very possible. Thanks. Would that be the only thing it could be? Or am I missing something else?

No way to answer that until you try changing the output size as suggested.

          A couple "related items":
          In Common Settings:
scroll down to near the bottom of the left pane and select
          Default output size as DVD5

Also, in DVD /Blu-ray > Write
you should probably bump up the
Writable Media (DVD5) Size from 4300 MB..
You can go up as high as 4472 safely with top-notch media.
          I use 4460 MB myself
