How do I get rid of Commercials?

Hi there,
I am hoping someone can help me out. I have several DVDs that I have copied from television that have commercials in them. Can anyone tell me how to edit them out. Also I have several that have the first half of a program on one DVD and the second on another. How can I select only the part I of the first and part II of the second without copying the entire DVD. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

using DVDFab you can select Titles and Chapters. then you can use merge mode to combine them.

sorry, there is not a really good method to do what you are needing. however there is a feature request, which i also agree would be nice.

Yu will need to use a reasonable video editor to do what you want and that is a totally different ball game.
