problems finalizing disc

i have purchased key for dvd fab and i have no problems copying a disc and burning it to a dvd, but when it begins to finalize it gets to 100% but never completes and then it says the process failed and i get a task 115 error. this has never happened before and i have no idea why it is happening now

Hi dsaangel and welcome.
Does the bkup disc play ok in your standalone dvd player(s)?
If yes, ignore the error.

If no, then as Gruñón suggests, we need more info.

You can force the discs to finalize with VSO (Fab's default burn engine and what we "assume" you to be using?)
or with Img.

This appears to be a bit complicated, but it's actually quick & easy:

DVDFab Finalize a disc

Right click on the Fab Icon >
Left click Properties >
Left click Find Target >
Left click PcSetup.exe >
Left click on the + in front of Patin-Couffin driver >
Now left click once to select your burner >
Right click on the selected burner >
Navigate to the bottom of the dropdown to Finalize the media
