Merge is not working

Good Day,
I am trying to use the "Merge" to make two files into one.

Zack Snyder's Justice League two DVD's

I used "Main Movie" to create the two files from DVD's.
Then I select "Merge" so both files would be one.
I drag and drop both files into "Merge" and click start.

The last three attempts get to 5% then fails.
"Merge" always works in the past for merging really long movies like Lord of the Rings extended versions.
What am I doing wrong?

did this get resolved for you? I want to do the same with the bluray version of ZSJL.

Did you try using Clone mode to create the copy and then merge the copies?
