    slower ripping/burning speeds

I was previously using v.6.2.1.8 and had great ripping/burning speeds. It was taking no longer then 30mins tops to do either task. Enter the new Beta. DH wanted me to dl it for the New Moon movie. After we got that movie done, the slow process was annoying him so he deleted the beta version. We're now back on v.6. But our speed times are still super slow. It's now taking on average 1hr-2 1/2hr to rip & 1 hour to burn (speeds are in the low 2mbs).

Is there a way to fix this? We're using a paid version.

    Hi Mtdewangel and welcome

The first thing to look at is your DMA mode.
Windoz may be decreasing your rate of data transfer.

Please click on the DMA Reset in Fab
    Common Settings > General

There is additional info....click on th links in my sig:
    Tips on Troubleshooting and
    Stubborn DMA Reset

If you have persistent problems or want us to take a look anyway...
    please post a burn log.

    The default location is:
    C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
