Had the same registration problem with DVDFAB 6 & 7 in combination with Windows 7.
My (working) solution was to change the compatibility in the property's screen of DVDFAB to Windows Vista Service Pack 2.

Then you must have forgot to do something that was mentioned in the link I posted as that usually fixes everyone up

Strange, but after following the same procedure another half dozen times, eventually it worked, so thanks very much, all is well
