    The Program "LOST"

I'm having a tough time backing up my copies of the fourth season of the program "Lost". Disc will burn fine and play the first episode and then go into a loop showing ABC Logo. Menu will not work correct and when it does it just returns me to the loop. I had no problems backing up the first three seasons.

Try changing Pathplayer in common settings, tick always enabled or disabled.

Sorry, I should have added that I tried pathplayer on bothe setting and there was no change in either postion. I have done search on similar problems with no results

No Problem, I haven't seen any reports one way or another if Fab has success with the title you mentioned and it sounds like it's not supported. I would send the info files using Fab/common settings (insert the disc and click send info), also include a link to this thread.

Looks like that info is from a copy and not the original. Try the original disc, your backup copy doesn't provide the needed info if you sent the files in to fengtao.

Are you backing up an orginal or making a copy of a copy?

Fab is not finding any protection and is listing all 8 of the regions.
This normally only happens when the source is a copy and not an orginal.

I didn't see if you said which DVDFAB release number you are using nor whether you are using the paid or free version of DVDFAB. I've backed up all five seasons of "Lost" with various flavors of FAB 6. It's possible that the copy protection changed from season to season.
If you have a paid version you should upgrade to the latest version. If you're using the free version and have an older version than any listed in the thread on older beta versions download and give it a try.

This thread's prefix is v7.0.3.2 and the beginning of the log says the same:

As for the trial (there is no free version of DVDFab) or registered version, it shouldn't make any difference as long as the trial hasn't expired (at least that is advertised, though some watermark logos are present).

More information on my Lost problem. After trying to play my discs in three different players I found one that will play my discs. They will not play on my computer using Nero, or Windows Media player. They will play in my cheap DVD player in my shop. Could this be a media problem? I have used Sony discs for all my back ups and have had no problems in the past.
                        Thank You for the help

Not sure about Nero but older versions of WMP required third party codecs to play DVD's. The newer version 12 should play them no problems.
Glad we know Fab does support that series now in any case, thanks.
