Your drive is in PIO mode open Fab green >check top right >general make sure check for DMA is checked and click the reset DMA button.
You should also install ImgBurn you will find it here with a tutorial on how to set it up and set your burn speed to 1/2 the rated speed of your media.

Also you should try ImgBurn as the burn engine to see if that fixes the error as the VSO burn engine that comes with DVDFab sometimes gives users problems like this.

Here is link on how to set up ImgBurn to work with DVDFab

Have a read of and try what is listed in this link:-

Hi all, I used IMGburn on my previous PC very often. It changed booktype for my older Samsung drive (DVD-+R to DVD_ROM) perfectly. But.. Now I own a new PC and I am running Windows 7 64 Bit. It seems that booktype is not changed to DVD_ROM anymore for my TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C SB01 (SATA) drive...

Try this To make DMA work in XP, Right click on My Computer and select Device manager. Browse down to IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers, and right click on Primary IDE Channel, select Properties and the Advanced settings. Ensure Transfer mode setting is "DMA if available". Click OK and exit...Check for Secondary IDE Channel as well..

Could you please post a current burn log to see if your drive is still in PIO mode?

Yeah, nearly everyone with a few exceptions such as yourself which seem to be hardware related.

What money??? You can download all versions FREE here on this forum. All you need is your registration key from Fab.
