I can't Renew to a lifetime

I purchased 1 year subscription to DVDFAB GOLD a little over a year ago. Now I wish to Renew with a lifetime. It offers dvd to dvd for a lifetime but not dvdfab gold. What is the difference? Matter of fact I dont see anything about dvdfab gold anywhere on this site anymore. I hate to purchase dvd to dvd at full price when the renewal fees are roughly half the price. I contacted support via email and they just say "wait" for dvdfab gold lifetime to become available.

When I go to the renewal page (after verifying my email) it says that I can renew Renew DVDFab5 (Gold) for 1yr, 2yr, 3yr or 4yr.

I emailed support and they say gold is different than dvd to dvd. My dvdfab gold expired Jan 07, 2010

The way I understood it and only going on memory:-

Fab Gold was registered version of Fab which would compress DVD9 to DVD5 whereas the free version would not.

Fab Platinum included the DVD to Mobile module'

DVD to DVD is DVDFab Gold just renamed as DVDFab is now changed to options for all choices instead of different programs. Try upgrading to DVD to DVD here is link to website click the Buy Now-then click Renew and enter your email address used to buy DVDFab Gold in the pop up. Then you will be sent to the renew page

I do that and it shows the two programs that I bought last year "DVDFAB GOLD" and "DVD TO MOBILE". I can renew the "DVD TO MOBILE" for lifetime, but the "DVDFAB GOLD" only allows me to renew upto 4 years. I want to renew "DVDFAB GOLD" for lifetime but it does not give me the option. I have contacted support and they just keep telling me to wait that it will have lifetime renewal in the future. They also say that dvdfabgold is not the same as dvdtodvd, which I too think they are the same. This is getting frustrating.

DVDfab gold change its name few years ago..DVD to DVD is the same that DVDfab gold. Did you read the previous posts?

Yes, I did. The problem is that when I go to renew, it does not give me the option to renew "DVD to DVD" (since technically I purchased DVDFABGOLD). It does give me the option to renew DVDFABGOLD, however DVDFABGOLD does not offer lifetime renewal. After multiple emails with dvdfab support, they tell me that dvdfabgold does not offer lifetime renewal, as of now (this option will be available in the future). They also have told me that dvdtodvd is the same, yet there is no way for me to Renew with Lifetime suscription. I just get a bad feeling about this.

Ya I have considered that. I mean in 4 years blu-ray will be the thing and dvd's will be stored in the attic next to the vhs tapes. It is just the idea that the people at dvdfab can change the name of their program and then lock me out.

I though that it was and that Platinum was DVD to DVD & DVD to Mobile.
