Amelia = Power Calibration Failure ???

    Amelia = Power Calibration Failure ???

    I get a Power Calibration Failure doing DVD to DVD or ISO to DVD with an older DVDFab as well as a the beta 7.0.4.0.
    No problem with 2 other DVD's today? (I know it say's it'sirty, but it is super clean!
    Never heard of this failure, here is the iso log report.

    This error would indicate a hardware problem with your drive.

    Also, I suppose you have been told before that your MATSHITA drive is just that?

      No need to insult my drive! It has been the not reliable drive I have ever owned, plus one of the easiest to get updates for via the Sony web site.

      Now back to this error, I just backed up Avatar with no issue, but this one I can,t even do from an iso file. Same error message is what I get no matter what.

        Sorry to be bearer of bad news but that drive is known to have problems for a longtime now and there have been many post about this drive in another forum

          Maybe so, but if you could only see the number of succesful back ups this wonderful drive has provided you might change your mind.

            Only other thing I can suggest for older movies is to turn off Pathplayer.
