Just registered but received two registration codes?

I purchased a lifetime license for DVDFab DVD to DVD a couple of weeks ago. I received registration codes for the current version as well as a separate, different regsitration code for version 6.x

It seems sort of strange, especially since we can't even download older versions from the DVDFab website.

Does anyone know why I would've received this second registration code? Is there any reason that I'd want to use an older version over the newer that I'm missing? Just curious.

Yea, the reason is this, you can sell second code on eBay and get some money back. Just kidding!!!

Seriously, DVDFab 6 you can download and install from here: http://www.oldapps.com/dvdfab.php

I would suggest to have both. (they can coexist) DVDFab is undergoing a major overhaul, and some functions are still unstable. When hiccup happened, you can use DVDFab 6 in a meanwhile.
