Look in your Documents and Folders for a Fab folder and the burn log should be there.

Should be several logs but we need to see the burn log.

Why didn't you just post logs as it suggested here? http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=15

      Anyway, please do following:
Download latest beta from here: http://www.dvdfab.com/mlink/download.php?g=DVDFAB_BETA

When downloaded, please close all other apps and install DVDFab "as Administrator". At the end of installation, when prompted to start DVDFab, please don't. When installed, restart the computer (preferably cold restart).
When computer back up and running, start DVDFab "as Administrator" and try your job again.
If problems persist, post your logs as suggested (see above).
      Please report results here.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask you to do one more thing. Please go here, read and set up you DVDFab to work with ImgBurn. Please be patient, we are almost there.

ok..I have done this I hope correctly...I am going to try again to burn this movie

Is there a reason now I have to burn the file to image or was that the way it always was done but using a different application..?

I just dont understand why suddenly I have so much problem after roughly 200 dvds

I think it worked this time....

I did a nero test on both my dvd drives and the #1 drive got a read error and failed..

                #2 drive worked ..

so I ran the dvdfab and used #2 as the source and the destination and it ran....

only thing I need to check is why the dvd fab looked on the screen like it was still trying to finish something when it was supposed to be done...

on my screen both programs were open but image burn actually did the final copy...when it was dont I closed it but dvdfab was still open like it wasnt done..

checked the disk and it was there and worked

                  gentlejax,
You don't have to burn file to image. I just recommended to use ImgBurn as a burning engine for DVDFab. The thing is that DVDFab doesn't have its own burning engine, but it preset for VSO as default. However, if you noticed, there are two other options - Nero and ImgBurn. Unanimously, by most of the DVDFab users, ImgBurn considerate as a best choice. It's more stable, robust, functional burning engine.... if set right, of course. You can use ImgBurn to create image files, read them, burn discs from image, as well as from folders.

Now, back to your problem. (by the way, ImgBurn log is much better tool for diagnostics as well)
                  What we see is this:
                  W 08:59:14 Failed to Write Sectors 269216 - 269247 - Reason: No Seek Complete
Usually (but not always) it indicates that your controller isn't healthy enough to keep up with the process. Usually driver update takes care of it.
You may ask why it happens now? Well, it could be you update driver for another device or one of the Windows updates could cause it...

I am trying it again to verify...so far did Blind SIDE and Law Abiding Citizen.....

I just need to verify what dvdfab is doing after imageburn is done and through making the copy..

is there a way to speed this up ? it takes roughly 20 minutes...is that correct?

After ImgBurn is done, DVDFab is doing nothing - waiting for next job. Actually, DVDFab begin "doing nothing" as soon as ImgBurn kicks into process. ImgBurn is a "subcontractor" for DVDFab.

I wouldn't recommend speed it up. Higher speed equals coaster in burning process. In fact, when I burn, It takes over hour (with verification) to burn. I have over 200 backups burned - not a single coaster.
