    Crashes when accessing the settings

I have a DVD Movie inserted and load DVDFab. It runs the scan and then after the scan is done and if I try to press the green icon to access the settings, the program crashes and I get the Windows crash pop-up window that starts searching for solutions.

It doesn't trigger the DVDFab crash report function.

If I start the program without having any DVD Movie inserted, I can access the settings without any issues.

    Running Windows 7 64-bit 8 GB.

Any other that face the same issue as I do?

    Did you install as administrator?
Instead of clicking run click save then open the folder and right click and install the program as administrator for all windows applications.
Give it a try and post back.

      Running the computer as admin.

      Downloaded latest beta again.
Right clicked on the .exe file and selected run as admin
      Ran the installation

      Same crash issue as before.

Also tried to change the output to a DVD writer instead of folder. No luck.

How about resetting DMA, I have seen others with this after scanning it will crash.

Are you running DVDFab Passkey on a background by a chance? If so, desable and try again.

Installed, but not running (closed down).

If I terminate the scan or insert a data disc I can still open the settings. But not if I use a DVD Movie as the source.

OK, if insert the disc, not to start Fab, but attempt to play it, what happened?

Inserting the DVD Movie disc and then just playing it with a software player is no problem.

You said that you are inserting disc and then start DVDFab. Please try other way around.

Have you also tried turning off your anti spyware programs and see if any changes. Also while they are off reinstalling Fab and then turning back on?

Still crashes. Using Comodo as firwall + antivirus.

                              Found something.

If I use a commercial pressed DVD-ROM Movie disc it works as it should. If I either mount an DVD Movie ISO with DVDFab Virtual Drive or use a burned -R disc it crashes. In my previous examples I've used only main movie sources.
