I am using an older version of DVD to DVD but prior to this I copied three movies, including The Hurt Locker, without problems. I have Windows XP.
When trying to copy "Up in the Air", the process steps (analyze, copy, burn) are "completed" in less than one minute and the screen freezes. The DVD has neither copied nor burned although the screen message says that it has been successful.
I have tried disabling Pathplayer but that doesn't work either. I get the message "Task-1 failed Error 401". I have checked the error code list but I don't know what I'm supposed to do after reading the definition.
I have also tried copying to my hard drive first without success.
Any thoughts? TIA BTW, I am not real technical so if you have a suggestion please KISS for my sake. :-)
