No media detected, Help Please

I know that this is a on going issue, but i still don't understand what to do to be able to write on my Memorex DVD-R's. From all of the forums I visited it seems that DVDFab 5 may be the issue, and I need to know if i need to upgrade to DVDfab 7 because i am using 5.

Your issue is not related unless you need to purchase a new burner and even then, it's unlikely.
I created your own thread.

Yes, you need to update to Fab 7, but right now it's all just guesswork.
Please provide details if you wish to receive meaningful help.
