    Can't open any disks.

I was having problems with my old dvd burner writing so I bought a:

    Pioneer dvr-s18mbk

Every time I attempt to open a disk I get the same error now.

    reading/writing error.

I went into the options and told it to ignore reading errors so now it just sits on the open disk dialogue box.

I looked at the logs and there's like nothing in there.

Can you please post any of your burn logs with actual burns?

Could the problem be caused by removing the old dvd burner?

I'll download it. I could be wrong but I don't think there are any burn logs because I can't even get the DVD opened.

Go to the device manager and uninstall it, reboot and let Windows pick it up and reinstall it.

Also be sure to disable PathPlayer and give it a try, I noticed that it is not picking up dvdinfo in your log.
