Yep, like I said "if my math is correct", it wasn't! You're right.

Have you done what 90312 suggested?
Originally posted by 90312 View PostI noticed this in your burn log: I 16:21:43 Source File Size: 4,509,696,000 bytes, if my math is correct that won't fit a single layer disk and finialize . Click the green check mark at the top and go down to "WRITE" and make sure DVD-5 is set to 4472 or less then rip it again and see if it will burn.
Originally posted by IPopov50 View PostBTW, you might want to reduce your writing speed one step down and set ImgBurn to verify disc after burning.
Instead of wasting disc's rip it to your hdd and play it from there to see if it will play you can use what IPopov50 suggested or VLC you will find it here
Also try the newest version
Please post back

I checked my settings and write is set to DVD5 size. I downloaded the latest version of DVDFab (thanks for the link). After the download I went back to my settings and slowed the burn to 4X and checked the box "verify disc after burning". I will try another title and will make sure write is set to DVD5. We'll see what happens.

Yup, sounds like a plan.
I know this has been "gone over", but according to my fuzzy math, you're all set with the file size, ie., you will have no problem fitting the file on a dvd 5 provided your settings are ok.
Maybe I missed it, but what do you have a dvd5 set for?
This file is just about 4300 MB, so you may need to tweak your settings.
Most of us set our max up around 4460-4472 MB.
The assumes good quality media and hardware.

Based on what I’ve read here I think DVDFab is the least likely cause of this problem. I couldn’t find anything good about your drive on the internet either. Gruñón’s suggestion of an external drive is the best idea. I would recommend a full sized drive with an external power supply over a slim type. How to post the internal log

Ugh...a slimline and a crappy one at that.
Poor guy, no wonder he's having issues.
Definitely, get yourself either an external burner or an internal in an external enclosure. In the U.S. this'll set you back about $50-60 either way.
Even if you get this slimline to work, if you're serious about video archiving to disc, do it.

Glad to hear you got it working and an external burner may be the way to go
