    From Paris With Love epic fail

    Good evening. I just installed version 7.0.7.0 this afternoon, and was able to backup a copy of Shutter Island after following the instructions in maineman's signature. After that, I tried to backup From Paris With Love, and have run into numerous problems. As with Shutter Island, there were a number of "Main Tracks" available in the "Main Movie" backup option (5 to be exact). I have tried using all but one of the tracks, and each time either DVDFab or my computer suffered a catastrophic failure. The first time, my computer locked and I had to do a hard restart. The second time, on the next track, while in the process of scanning the dvd (prior to extraction) just prior to burning to my second optical drive, the percentage bar jumped from 0 to 33% in about two seconds, and DVDFab locked up. I was able to close the program without having to restart the computer. The third go around, I tried the third track in the Main Movie window. This time, just before beginning the scanning dvd process, I received a windows error message saying that my C: drive had been unmounted, and that it needed to be reinserted. Pressing the OK, Ignore, And Abort buttons did nothing but bring up the same warning message. I performed another hard restart, and tried the fourth title in the Main Movie section. This time, the scanning dvd process (just prior to extracting files) began and immediately went to 33% completion, and stayed there for about four minutes. At this point, DVDFab shut down, and the DVD drive housing the Movie Disc could not be recognized by my operating system.
    What am I doing wrong? Any advice is appreciated! The following are the three logs that I read were suggested to be included in each new post. I apologize for the long post, I am a very new user!

    according to your log, copy you are using isn't registered, but in trail mode:

      And if you haven't registered and are using the FREE TRIAL version, it may take up to 120 days for the free version to be able to defeat the copy protection of titles being released now.

        Thank you so much! To both of you! It appears my problem is as both of you stated; I have not purchased the product yet, and just started using the trial version. I suppose I will have to purchase the entire program in order to be able to backup the most recent releases

          I am a registered user and have the same problems with "from Paris with love" even when i upgraded to version 7.0.7.0.

            Just throwing in my two cents... I also have a purchased copy of 7.0.7.0.and am having the same problem trying to copy this movie. Any other ideas would be appreciated. My problems have been exactly like the orginal poster...

              I have win-xp,sev.pack3, I have 7.0.7.0, I had no problem with shutter Island, maine movie!, but with, from paris with love, tryed maine movie,and it would lose the frist 3-5 min's. of the movie,everytime! I tryed full disc and had no problems! Used a DL VERBATIM! (DVD-DVD)

                I've used 7067, 7068, 7069, 7070, on shutter island, from paris, i've also used dvd shrink 3.2, and had no problems, so for many of u it may be your system, at times or your burner, make sure firmware stay updated.

                  IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO EVERYBODY WITH "SAME" PROBLEM AS ORIGINAL POSTER!!!!!

                  If you have same problem as an original poster, you solution is registration. Please go and register your DVDGFab properly. If you paid money for it, doesn't mean you were registered it correctly.
                  If you copy is installed and registered correctly, you DO NOT HAVE SAME PROBLEM as original poster.
                  In this case please start your own thread with posting all required info and detailed description of actual problem. Instructions on how to post info correctly you can find in "Help us help you" threads on each sub-forum. Thank you.
