DVD Fab trial V 7.0.7.0 burning issue

    Greetings.

I have the trial version which rips fine, with no errors at all. Unfortunately it doesn't burn. Nothing. Nada.

The file is on my hard drive, and I can burn it with IMG Burn (trial version as well).

There must be something easy that I am missing? I will buy the full version if I can get it to rip and burn, but I don't to buy if I have to use two separate programs every time.

I am using an Acer netbook with an Acer exturnal drive. The drive burns fine using IMG Burn.

    Thank you.

OK well let's start with a few Questions then.

1-How long have you used the trial for?

2-did you select to install the VSO burn engine when you installed DVDFab?

3-Did you go in common settings-Write and select the Burn engine that you prefer to use?

Now about ImgBurn it is a free program and does not require payment but they do accept donations if you ever want to donate. Also it is more prefered to use with DVDFab than either Nero or the VSO burn engine

As AGJ says, it sounds like your trial period has run out. To check this, press the "Help" (Top right, blue"?") and "About"

        AGJ- Thanks for the tips.

        1. I started trying out the free version on June 8th, so the trial period hasn't expired.

        2. I have no idea. I would prefer to not use any other programs to burn.

        3. I have looked all over to change anything. Where can I find the "common settings?"

I tried backing up one of my DVDs again. It reads fine. I tried to change the destination to my DVD drive, but I get an error message. As is, I can only rip it to the HDD.

I would really like to just use DVDFab only. Any ideas?

        Thank you again.

Still sounds like it is expired..

Have you in the past at any time had any version of fab installed on your PC?

Like Gruñón asked did you have DVDFab installed on your computer before? Could you click the blue dot with the ? in it and in the dropdown click the about and see if your still using the trial or if it has expired. If it shows expired that would be the reason that you are unable to burn to blank DVD. Now common settings is the green dot with the check mark in it but if trial is over then you will need to purchase if you want to burn to DVD
