Im new to this site and lost

Can someone please point me in the direction to find out how to do the following.

Burn your DVD to a Single file to play from a hard drive.

    I have virtual drive installed.

The deal is I have a 1TB drive that i use to back up my movies on. I have just been burning them directly to the hard drive. Then you get MainMovie/Title/video_ts/..... and so on.

I would love to be able to have one folder with all my backup in it. Like a ISO file that can be read by windows media or whatever program much like virtual drive. It may be that I am incorrectly using DVDFAB features. But I dont want to lose any video quality or audio quality such as Dolby Digital or DTS.

    Please help.... Thank you

Yes, you use DVD to DVD and then click on the ISO (Looks like a Disk) icon as the target.

can you just play an ISO file or do you need the virtual drive to do it?

Sure, no problem, but it depends on the player.
Try VLC (videolan). It'll play just about anything and does not rely on external codecs.
        No virtual drive is needed

Depends on what player you are using.

VLC is free (www.videolan.org) and you can just open the ISO & play it.

You can as well install this plug in and be able to use WMC to view all ISO files
